Imagine if EMOTICONS could describe “feelings of women”

Assume a world where we have to communicate without saying anything but using only emoticons. In that world women would soon face shortage of expressions. It is because emoticons still belong to men’s world.

Apart from smiles what other emoticons can a woman use? The existing emoticons have restricted women only to certain categories. They only show how females can express them through makeup, dancing, being a bride or princess and using a purse. This is one of the most basic types of gender discrimination we face in our daily life.

Understanding this problem, “MAKERS” have come up with a very enlightening project, which talk about using different types of emoticons for women to show her wide existence and role in the world. Therefore, we strongly feel that full support should be provided to the encouraging project of “MAKERS”. This step may have a little significance but it will definitely help in empowering woman.

These are the emoticons produced by MAKERS known as “Femojis” or “Female Emoticons”.

JWB suggests executing the same project in India. Share your thoughts about those Indian women who deserve to become emoticons to express your feelings.
