Mia Matsumiya’s Instagram Account Puts Some Men To Shame

A professional violinist Mia Matsumiya describes herself as “4’9″ violinist & perv magnet. I’ve archived 1,000+ messages from creeps, weirdos & fetishists over the past 10 years. I’ve decided to post them all.”

Mia has an Instagram account where she calls out all those creeps who have sent her and other women disturbing and absurd messages. She tells The Huffington Post, “Pretty much most of my life now, I’ve encountered Asian fetishists, pedophiles, stalkers, racists, and who-knows-how-many unsolicited sexual comments. It had gotten to the point where someone would send the most scathing, racist, violent thing to me — like rape or death threats — and I would barely have a reaction. As the number of messages grew and grew and 10 years went by like this, that’s when I began crawling out of my desensitization and it hit me that no, this is not okay. I became really angry. It’s absolutely unacceptable to treat anyone this way. People often deny the existence racism or sexism, but I’m pelted with it almost daily and here’s my proof.”

Seeing the screenshots of creepy messages that she puts on her page, many women have been appreciating her efforts and sharing similar experiences.

Everyone knows that if you wink after making cannibalistic statements, it makes it less creepy. ? #pervmagnet
