Read What Is Bottle-Shaming And How Model Coco Rocha Handled It

You don’t mess with supermodel Coco Rocha.

When Coco had enough of bottle-shaming criticism after posting an Instagram photo about her baby daughter, she decided to put an end to it.

While on vacation, Coco shared a screenshot of her text message sent to the GoButler service. In the conversation, she is trying to get some drinking formula for her six-month-old daughter Ioni.

Soon after this, people started blaming her for not breastfeeding her baby properly. After which Coco decided to put up this picture on Instagram:

“Getting a lot of unwanted advice based on my last post. Not that this is anyone’s business — I loved breastfeeding Ioni for the first 5 months of her life and then one day my milk went dry. It happens to every mom at different times. She’s been on formula for a few weeks now and seems to be doing just fine. In the last 4 weeks she gained another 2 pounds, grew another inch and is in the 90th percentile for her age. Anyone who has a negative comment to make on the way I raise my baby will be blocked. This is not a democracy, everyone doesn’t get a say.”

Many women like Coco face bottle-shaming, and are pointed out for not providing the basic breastfeeding needed for a child’s growth. This post of Coco is a relief to such mom and a lesson for haters who judge mothers based on the way they feed their children.
