Tangerine Interiors for Tangerine Women

Campaign ‘Tangerine Woman’ was a huge success, thanks to all our readers who could relate with the message – How not to raise a sexist son. Four mothers from Jaipur took charge to tell their side of stories and give few tips on how they have been nurturing their sons based on the principle of gender equality at home and beyond.

Talking apart from this, while shooting at , we got fascinated by its bright interiors that are a treat to eyes in the hot summer. Just imagine all the candy-floss colors covering your walls. Deliciously beautiful, right? Let’s have a look inside which might ignite the desire in you to have a peppy home like Tangerine!

The entrance of Tangerine will remind you of Santorini, Greece. Everyone wants to touch and push open that neon orange door.

Enter and you’ll see the stylish leather couches waiting for you.

Have a look at the quirky cushions placed on these leather sofas. Absolutely a Tangerine style. The bamboo bonsai plants kept on doorways and windows are a bonus!

And if the dose of bright colors ain’t enough, check out the manicure section. So what if you love matt or pastel colors, the pop colors in nail-paints will win your heart.

Owner Natasha Singh personally suggests lots of neons and brighties this spring/summer.

Another thing that will impress you about Tangerine is that it is not messy at all. Considering the continuous hair-cuts, you won’t even find a strand of fallen hair on the floor.

The monochromatic towels have a very androgyny feel. Don’t miss the edgy chandelier above. We like!

Of course, the curtains have to have orange color. After all it is Tangerine, duh! To compliment the grey chairs, the curtains color-block grey and orange perfectly.

We won’t mind asking the question ‘Mirror, mirror on the wall. Who is the prettiest of them all?’ again and again. It Looks like these life-size mirrors are straight from a fairytale book.

Have a look at the entire Hair-spa room.

We want Tangerine’s Massage-room in our bathroom. Now.

And if you love Bollywood and want to get your personal makeup done in one of their vanity vans, this pretty room will fulfill your desire. With an antique table, pop-art paintings on the wall and spot-light mirror; get ready to raise up your chin a little higher.

A complete wall is dedicated to few runway icons of all times. The pictures aren’t framed but clipped with wires hanging on the wall. Cost effective and stylish!

Here is the full view. Lovely!

Now let’s talk about our favorite part – a small eatery inside Tangerine. While you’re getting an hour long relaxing beauty treatment, your little one can enjoy variety of desserts at this colorful space. From cupcakes to tarts, you can choose anything to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Adorned with colorful tall chairs with floral printed sitting cushions, the café offers a beautiful view of the green and peaceful Jacob road.

And don’t miss those quirky cushions on the side wooden bench. So English yet so desi!

Who would mind some lovely lampshades hanging from the ceiling and pretty butterfly fluttering around them? Nobody.
