Celeb Hair-stylist Sapna Bhavnani Was Gang Raped, Called a Whore And Domestically Abused By Her Husband

Last night, Humans of Bombay posted yet another story that went viral within minutes. The story is of the celeb hair-stylist Sapna Bhavnani.
You’ve seen Sapna in the reality TV show – Bigg Boss. She told Humans of Bombay:
“When I was 14, I used to talk to boys; drive motor cycles, smoke cigarettes and people in Bandra would often call me a whore…”
It was shocking to learn that she was gang-raped when she was just 24.
“…a group of guys walked upto me and put a gun to my head asking me to give them blow jobs, eventually leading to gang rape.”
We see Sapna as a bold woman. Not particularly because of the choices she had made in life, but how she had responded to them. Inspite of what happened to her, she has always stayed strong without a line of regret or shame on her face.
