HERo
Parents tell their daughters stories about their Prince Charming, and they wait for him to come riding a horse. Our girls grow up depending upon their Princes to come, pull them up on their horses and take them away to the magical land of love. While all that is good, what the girls are missing out on are the real heroic stories of women from the Indian history and folklore.
This Republic Day, some Jaipur mothers are taking up a responsibility to change that. They will tell stories of the great women of the world to their girls, and pin a Nayaab earring as a medal to their chests.
