Women More Religious Than Men And Still Banned From Temples? Hilarious

Remember the recent controversy about women not being allowed to pray at the Shani Shingnapur temple in Maharashtra? Similarly, most often we get to hear about edicts and fatwas by priests and clerics who say that when it comes to religion, women are not allowed to do everything that men do.

But folks what would be your reaction upon hearing that women are more religious than men? Yup, you heard it right. A recent survey done by the Pew Research Center reveals that as compared to men, around 97 million more women are engaged in religious activities worldwide.

Woah now, that’s certainly news to us! So what about all these sayings that women cannot enter the temple of the Lord Almighty will be mighty pissed?

In the survey, it has also been seen that women pray way more often than men, and their attendance at religious ceremonies are also higher.

So, it appears that the reality is contrastingly different than what we are led to believe by the moral police and self-styled God-men (although many of them often find themselves behind the bar for molesting women), people who just can’t digest the fact that women should have equal rights.

The numerous social and cultural factors which are responsible for this finding are also mentioned in the survey.

After connecting the dots, it has been seen that women are sometimes more devout than men depends on their nurturing abilities.

The survey has noted that among Muslims, this religious gap between men and women is around 2 percent while when it comes to Christianity, this disparity actually stretches beyond the 10 percent mark.

Given that the most historical religious figures such as Jesus, Muhammad and Buddha are male, this is certainly a revelation.

Seriously, I fervently hope that the next time before making another moronic statement underplaying the role of women in religion, these religious heads do take a look at this survey by Pee.

Sadly, they will have no choice but to eat their own words!
