JWB Thinks It’s Okay To Call Deepika Padukone ‘A Leggy Brunette’

We all know that Deepika Padukone will be soon making her Hollywood Debut with xXx: The Return of Xander Cage. She is in Toronto shooting for the film. Just yesterday, she was spotted and reported as ‘a leggy brunette’ accompanying tennis player Novak Djokovic on a dinner date in ‘The Nice Guy’ in Los Angeles.
The UK-based tabloid, Daily Mail, failed to register the Bollywood actress and described the incidence like this:
“The world number one tennis player appeared to have had a great night as he was pictured exiting the bar – popular among LA’s A-lister set – in the dark hours of the evening with a female companion. The leggy brunette slipped her towering figure into a flirty frock which was decorated with a statement floral print and skimmed her knees. The pretty lady teamed her smart one-piece with a black tailored cape-coat and a pair of towering stiletto sandals which further heightened her willowy frame.”

A little more knowledge of one of the top entertainment industries that the Bollywood is would have helped you register who the pretty lady with the long legs was. The Feminist in us is a little grumpy.
Better luck next time. But I would like to thank you, too, for describing her in such a beautiful and gracious way. I don’t mind the tag of ‘leggy brunette’, as we all love her tall frame that she’s earned by playing Badminton with her legendary father, Prakash Padukone, religiously. Trust me, those toned legs and pins are to die for.
