Balika Vadhu Fame Pratyusha Banerjee Commits Suicide At 24

Pratyusha Banerjee, famous for her role as Anandi in Balika Vadhu, committed suicide on Friday, April 1st. She hung herself from the ceiling.
She was rushed to the Kokilaben Ambani hospital but was pronounced dead. Pratyusha was only twenty four, and we hope she’s in a better place now.
She was a regular on Indian Television and apparently the Industry didn’t see that coming.
Here’s what co-star Siddharth Shukla said:
“She is no more with us. It’s shocking. I spoke to her two-three months back and she was fine that time. I am at the hospital…trying to get details,”
Gauhar Khan tweeted:

Indeed, it is heartbreaking. RIP Pratyusha, gone too young.
Pratyusha has appeared in Television shows like Balika Vadhu and reality shows like Jhalak Dikhla Jaa & Bigg Boss.
