The photo of Katie Price’s little daughter’s ear piercing went viral after it was posted on Instagram.

The post received many mixed comments. Some comments also called her a baby abuser for getting her ‘ear-pierced’ without her consent.

The American Academy of Pediatrics suggested that there’s no harm in getting ears pierced at any age, provided it is performed properly and taken care of conscientously.

A petitio in June 2015 asking for the ban of ear piercing in the U.K. has gathered more than 75,000 signatures.
