It’s Just The End Of WT20 Tournament For Indian Women’s Team & Not Their Spirit

Unfortunately, the Indian women’s cricket team is out of the World Twenty20 tournament. West Indies beat India in the knockout match played on Sunday in Mohali and won the match by a mere three runs.
India after winning the toss chose to field first. After the toss, captain of Indian team Mithali said, “We will bowl first. We batted first in the last two games and didn’t put up a great total on the board, looks like a good pitch. We have a good bowling attack. One change for us, Poonam Yadav replaces Vanitha. I want the team to do well.”
The spinners Ekta Bisht and Anuja Patil shared four wickets out of eight and wrapped up West Indies innings at 114 runs.
India lost 9 wickets to put up 111 runs on the board while chasing the target and finally lost by three runs. It marked India’s third defeat in a row.
It is sad that they are out of the tournament, but it’s definitely not the end. They may not have performed well in World Twenty20, but we have big hopes for them in the future.
Dear India Team,
It’s okay if you didn’t win it this time. There’ll be plenty of more times and we know you’ll make India proud. Don’t be disheartened by this loss. It’s now past. India is and will always be proud and will be holding your back, in thick and thin.
To your future games and victories, Cheers!
Love and Support,
Indian Fans
