Ms. Fatasstic’s Response To The Ridiculous ‘A4 Waist’ Challenge

(Hindi serial style echo) Kya! Kya! Kya! This was my actual reaction when I got to know about the new Internet fad craze ‘A4 Waist’. And, it all began in China.
Slow Claps!
If you haven’t heard about this, let me explain. To qualify in the challenge, the waist must be entirely hidden by the A4 size paper that measures 8.3 by 11.7 inches. And, it will be considered cheating if the paper is held horizontally. To top it all, they are backing the challenge by giving it a name of Fitness Challenge.
Really, guys?
Sadly, the challenge has gained momentum and people across the globe are actually posting pictures with A4 in front of their waist area under the hashtag #A4Waist.

However, some wise ones like me are criticizing the whole idea.
TOO MUCH PRESSURE #a4waist guys enough of setting parameters for beauty. btw guys don’t always fall for slim kind.
Because you are already beautiful. #bearum #a4waistchallenge #handcraftedjewelry #minimaljewelry #minimalism #engravedinKorean #koreanjewelry #koreanbracelets #braceletsfromkorea #handcrafted #bracelets #jewelry #engravedinkorean #a4waist

Here’s what Fatasstic Chick’s 44-waist want to convey to every body-shamer and A4 Waist challenge supporter.
I believe any standard to typecast a waist size, or the body size is a daunting attempt. All bodies are different and trying to fit them in one particular size or image suggests mockery and propagates body-shaming leading to body-negativism in people.
And, the fact cannot be emphasized enough that being slim doesn’t assert healthiness and fitness.
Appreciate your body and love yourself!
Ok?
