MUST VISIT: ‘NineDotSquares’ Being Held At Diggi Palace Will Take Your Breath Away!

Ninedotsquares, currently being held at Diggi Palace, is a one of a kind interiors & architectural exhibition, which YOU SHOULD NOT miss!
It started on April 1st, and as I made my way through the familiar pathways of the hotel, thanks to JLF, I found myself getting lost in the opulence. As a wide-eyed kid in Disneyland, I stood and observed each and every product with a yearning heart and an open mouth. Everything you’ll set your eyes on will be posh, gorgeous and larger than life.
The first make-shift booth that I entered was that of lavish chandeliers and lights. On the ceiling hung a limited selection of lights, which were enough to take my breath away. Needless to say, the designs were extremely unique and distinctive.
The second booth belonged to “Symetree Ambiences”. It was in the form of a pink cottage, with its exterior adorned with beautiful blue pottery pieces and bespoke wood furniture.
On the other side, an array of stalls featured artists working in the fields of stone carving, gold & silver leafing, Taarkashi, Colour Glass, Thikri, Pichhwai, metal thukai, and what not.
These artists are being supported by well-established companies like Kitec, Kohler, Natural Veneers, etc.
The next big booth which caught my attention was the “A-Class Marble”. The booth was pristine white, and the walls were covered in samples of their marbles, which were beautiful.
Five varieties of Onyx stood in the form of cuboids, and some others in the form of cubes.
Who knew marble could be so fascinating?
Next, I entered one of Diggi’s huge halls housing some more colonial magnificence. Hanging directly opposite me were some of the most beautiful rugs I’d even seen! The colors and textures were marvelous, to say the least.
Adjacent to the rugs was a selection of stunning lamps.
Some French-style furniture too.
I had made it a point to look up at the ceilings of all the booths. Luckily, the neck exercise was worth it. Stately design pieces were EVERYWHERE.
Even if you are just roaming around outside the halls, your eyes are in for a treat. Just look at that bed with those colorful cushions. *Bed goals!*
Oh, and you could also pop in for a workshop to get your hands dirty, and create some amazing art of your own!
So yes, there are a lot of products to get your hands on like Silver cutlery and crockery,
Beautiful ornate vases,
A variety of home decor pieces,
Lamps, lampshades and an array of hangings,
Colorful and classy furniture pieces,
Antique wall clocks and decor,
Sofas, futons, settees, ottomans, etc. ,
Tiles in every color and shape,
Delicate floral home decor,
Linens, bed covers, quilts, cushion covers, laundry carriers, etc.,
Paintings,
And what not! I was amazed to see that most of the presenters belonged to our very own Jaipur city. Who knew such precious treasures lay hidden in this good-ol’ Pink City?!
In conclusion, the exhibition allowed me to disconnect from the world for a while and enabled the horses of my imagination to run wild in the fields of golden architectural azure.
Since today, i.e. 3rd April is the last day of the exhibition; I would advise you to run real fast towards Diggi Palace so that you too could get a chance to have a gala time curating exceptionally splendid decor pieces for your humble abode.
P.S. Do you know that this extremely successful exhibition has been organised by a group of women? Yes, you let that sink in while I go shimmy to “Who run the world? GIRLS!”.
