Neerja Bhanot’s Mother Tells Sonam Kapoor: “My Daughter Was Prettier!”

Sonam Kapoor’s upcoming film ‘Neerja’ is yet to release, however, the film has already gathered appreciation. The biographic film tells the story of 23-year-old Neerja Bhanot, the head purser on Pan Am flight 73, which was hijacked by four Palestinian terrorists in Karachi in 1986.
Neerja was shot dead by the terrorists while saving the passengers. Later, she became India’s youngest recipient of the Ashok Chakra award.

The old lady told Sonam that she reminded her of her Neerja, though for the mother, her daughter was the prettiest. Film’s Director Atul Kasbekar reveals in the video that the mother said, “My laado was prettier!”
