Research Proves That Husbands Add To Their Wives’ Household Chores

Hahahahahahaha! I am sorry, but I am going to laugh a bit before I tell you what this is about.

We women often tell men that most of our household miseries of household chores are owing to them. Well, guess what? A Research’s got our back now!

A recent study from the University of Michigan states that having a husband adds as many as 7 hours a week to the regular housework.

Hmmmmm. Interesting trivia, isn’t it?

“It’s a well-known pattern. There’s still a significant reallocation of labor that occurs at marriage — men tend to work more outside the home, while women take on more of the household labor, and the situation gets worse for women when they have children,” said Frank Stafford, of the university’s Institute for Social Research (ISR), who directed the study.

The research is a culmination of facts from people’s everyday diaries, and their answers to questions about the amount of time they spend cooking, cleaning and doing basic work around the house.
