Video By Shaadi.com Has A Man Rejecting Dowry For All The Good Reasons

Shaadi.com’s anti-dowry campaign #NotForSale is already a hit. In their recent (excellent) advertising video, a young man (read: potential groom) begins telling his story of how difficult it is for him to travel by local trains and buses to reach his workplace every day.
So when the girl’s family offered him a flat close to his office, he, without a second thought,….rejected it. Yes, rejected.
WHY?
Because he doesn’t want to sell himself. Isn’t accepting dowry only about selling oneself?
Give it a thought and the answer will be a “yes”.
