JLF 2016 comes to an end today, sigh. That means we will not get to witness fashionably “overachieved chicks and lads’’ anymore. Anyhoo, let’s check out who makes it to our list today:
- If you’re feeling brave and creative just like this girl in cowgirl braids, I believe that you can easily pull some tribal jewelry off with festive pieces from inside your closet. Those earrings, the nose-ring and the brooch worn as a hair-accessory are too cool to handle.
2. All you petite ladies, do you have a hard enough time finding trendy pieces for you? This girl tells you what you can wear what taller ones can’t – Suspenders! Try wearing this style while evening-out with your friends. BTW, does she remind you of Twiggy, as well?
3. Women in cotton and khadi sarees are my favorite. And when they experiment with their blouses, they become my idol. For that quirky thing that she’s sporting in her hair, hit your local streets to find a similar statement-maker.
4. Oh, was it the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival that I was attending today and not JLF because I bumped into this chica? I mean, wow!
5. Let me end the blog with this happy bunch of friends from Mumbai. I can’t put into words how much the three men at the back went gaga about her and her life achievements. When I told her, I love her neckpiece, one of them said, “She is much more than jewelry. She is a bad-ass Architect who wears leather boots with Linen over-alls. And thanks to her, we get to be featured in a women’s blog. I hope you won’t photoshop us.” Look sir, I haven’t!
