St. Vincent Reveals A Signature Guitar Series Meant For A Woman’s Frame

The timbre of an acoustic guitar makes it my favourite personal instrument (seconding vox). St. Vincent, the indie-rock phenomenon has been killin’ it with her kickass instrumental skills for quite some time.

For those of you who don’t know, St. Vincent (the stage name for Annie Clark), has got a surprise for girl guitar aspirants. She’s coming up with her signature guitar series especially suited for a woman’s frame. Which means there’s ample room for a ‘boob or two’.

It is with pride that I present the St. Vincent Signature @ernieball MusicMan Guitar. I wanted to design a tool that would be ergonomic*, lightweight, and sleek. So excited to be working with Ernie Ball. *There is room for a breast^ ^Or two

“I was always finding when I was playing onstage and wearing various stage outfits the guitar would cut across one of the best features of the female body, which is your waist,” Clark said in a recent interview. She added, “I carry my guitar pretty high so I had to make all of these costumes based on the fact that you wouldn’t be able to see if I had a waist or not. I wanted to make something that looked good and not just for a woman, but any person.”

So all the John Petruccis out there, you can turn your heads away, because these series are specially meant for the ‘females.’

Thank you, St. Vincent!
