See How The Indian Women’s Kabaddi Team Helped An Iranian Woman To Put Her Hijab Back

Remember when we were small and we used to race with our friends on the streets?
Before reaching the point of denouncing the opponents and focusing only on winning, there did come a time when we stopped and helped our racer friend get up from the street and complete the race together.
Alas! Those were the days.
Something of the same sort happened between the Iranian and Indian women’s kabaddi teams.
In a thrilling, biting-our-nails kind of a kabaddi match when both the teams refused to lose, an Iranian kabaddi player, by mistake, got her hijaab displaced. Since hijab is an integral part of the culture and it would not look nice on the TV for a woman to lose her hijab, the Iranian woman got a little uncomfortable and lost pace with the game.
What could have been a cherry on the top for the Indian players, they responded exactly the opposite to the situation.
Instead of taking advantage of the situation and grabbing the woman down to their line, the whole Indian team covered the player’s face so that she could adjust her hijab back to the place. Having done that, they all launched to play the game, again.
In spite of winning the game by 31-21 the Indian team will be remembered for winning the world’s heart.
