E-ID

On the beautiful day of Eid, JWB is undertaking a responsibility to empower Jaipur’s underprivileged Muslim women. The narrow streets of the Walled city is full of creative women from this community. Sadly, their artworks are only restricted to these walls and every year, only a handful of tourists discover them during walking the streets. This means, a handful of descent livelihood.

Team JWB has decided to change this scenario with the help of technology. This Eid, we are making these women’s businesses “E-id” , that is, taking them online. The world belongs to e-commerce, and so, we will help them take a big leap and expose their art and craft to a bigger stage that is not restricted by geographic boundaries. Our task will be to revive their brands, make their products more culturally acceptable and create their online pages on Facebook, Instagram, etc before educating these women how to handle them.

In this rubric, you will read stories of such brave women of the Pink city who believed in our vision and joined hands to change their destinies.

  • JWB along with the brand Jewel Saga bring you a selfie contest inspired by the campaign AidToMaid.
