You’re absolutely lying if you say that you have never fantasized yourself playing the Quidditch Tournament from Harry Potter.
CAUTION: In case you do not want to harbor that fantasy anymore, leave this page. Leave, before it’s too late.
Because photographer Anshu Agarwal’s pictures will make you drool over Harry Potter. All. Over. Again.
His magnificent act of fulfilling the Quidditch-playing wish of his students from Dehradun’s Kalap village is heartwarming. He has deployed the technique of levitation photography to film the shots. And might I say, the job is excellently done!
“I show the kids Harry Potter movies on Sundays. They once fantasized about being witches and wizards themselves.”
“When I told them I could give them flying lessons, they were so excited they literally dragged me to the fields. It took four Sundays of hopping on a one-foot-high wooden bench to stash enough material for the final images.“
“Carrying out the shoot was tough, but when I created the final pictures and showed them to the children, they yelled in amazement.”
“The satisfaction and sense of achievement I felt after roping in some magic into their lives can’t be expressed in words,” said Anshu.
