The Times of India has reported that the total amount of Rs. 1,000 Crore has been allocated in the Nirbhaya Fund for about three years now. The question is that why does it still remain untouched?

It was also revealed that there were two proposed schemes: Rs. 653 crores for “women’s safety on public road transport” and the other was the Nirbhaya Project worth Rs. 79.6 crores under the Home Ministry.
