Girl Continued Studying For Board Exams While Being Sexually Harassed By 10 Men Over 2 Months

Did you read about the case reported by The Indian Express about a class X girl student’s plight of being raped and tortured by ten men, that too ahead of her board exams?
This 15-year-old girl was put through two months of torture, blackmail and sexual harassment.
Unfortunately, she befriended an auto-rickshaw (Aamir) driver through her mother’s cellphone. But she never knew that meeting him would change her life forever. On February 2, he asked her to meet him on the pretext of discussing something urgent. He, then, took her to an isolated place where he raped her along with a friend. The accused recorded everything on their mobile phone and started blackmailing her. She was repeatedly called to sleep with those men and their friends. At times, she was even burnt in her privates using cigarette stubs.
What’s more heinous? Out of fear, the girl even lied to her mother to be staying over at her friends’ place when Aamir forced her to stay overnight.
On March 30, Aamir and his friend Shah were seen forcing the girl. Courageously, the girl resisted and screamed for help. At last, few of them were arrested while Aamir and one more person are on the run.
