Jaipur Women Designers add bling to Jaipur Jewellery Show 2015

Keep calm and wear lovely jewellery that is being exhibited at Jaipur Jewellery Show.
The 13th edition kicks off today at Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Centre with creators from across the globe. With over 730 booths one can expect to see the finest collections of renowned designers under one roof (which are highly commendable and worth a check out). Actress Amrita Rao adorning jewellery designs of reputed Jaipur brands will be the primary attraction of this show.
We find the underlying objective of this show very enticing as it is an attempt to create more job opportunities at different levels. And if we manage to do the same, we surely can expect this industry to go a notch up.
Sonal Sawansukha- Jewel Saga
For us, the main feature was the alluring jewels created by Jaipur Women Designers. While taking a stroll, we couldn’t take our eyes off of the creations by Ms. Sonal Sawansukha, Jewel Saga. Who was highly occupied in setting up her booth. In a candid and quick chat with us Sonal mentioned that she has been participating in such shows for over ten years. With loads of excitement, she shared that this 13th edition of JSS is extra special as it’s being organized in Jaipur which is her hometown as well.

With her designs Sonal aims to showcase different concepts and stories; she draws her inspiration from flora, fauna and baroque, feathers (cover picture illustration), seasons of India. “Love at first sight does exist, I found my love in this Gold coins collection piece (bold necklace created by using old coins). I found it difficult to resist, and I am sure you too would.”
Bela Badhalia- Adbhut Jewels
Another designer from Jaipur, Ms. Bela Badhalia, Adbhut Jewels shared that they had created a magnificent necklace using 200 Pigeon Blood Red Burmese Rubies & glistening white Diamonds this year. This jewel has inevitably swept us off.

Bela also shared that two of her designs had been selected for two categories: ‘Colored Stone Jewellery’ and `Theme Based Jewellery Of The Year Wide Life’.

I wished instead of pursuing MBA; I would have enrolled for Jewellery Designing course to let my creative juices flowing. Nevertheless, aspiring designers can enroll for Creative Jewellery Workshop, which is organized by Jaipur Design Festival on 20-21 December, This workshop will be swarming with famous Designers, Industry Experts, Artists etc. such as Ms. Pallavi Foley (Designer & Design Consultant, Zoya – Tanishq), (MD-India and Middle East of Gemological Institute of America), (Head-Jewellery Category for Retail Exports & Domestic Business at eBay India), Mr. Gautam Banerjee (Velvet Case) and many more.
