I was probably eating mud, playing with toys, breaking them, and crying at the age of 4.
But, Ananya Verma is all set to start her term for Class 9th at a local school after the Education Department formally permitted her.

Umesh Tripathi, a District inspector of schools, told TOI, “Ananya was so talented that none of us could stop her taking admission in Class IX. The board permits home education only till Class VIII. So, now that she speaks fluent Hindi and reads Class IX books with ease, she deserves the admission.”
Anita Ratra, the principal of the school she will be studying in stated, “She came to us in June and sought admission in Class X, saying that since Sushma-di got admission in Class IX, she wanted [to be] in Class X. I asked her to read the newspaper, and she did like an adult. Her grasping power is commendable. She learns just by seeing and reading.”
Vinod Ratra, the School Manager, said in another interview, “We spotted abundant talent in Ananya just like Sushma. We groomed Sushma after she came to our school in Class IX when she was just 5. We will work extra with Ananya also. Her fingers are very small. She needs to be given special attention, particularly in mathematics. Our trained educators will conduct extra sessions with her.”
The 4-year-old was born on December 1, 2011, and lives in Lucknow. Their parents, Tej Bahadur, Assistant Supervisor (sanitation) at a University, and Chaya Devi who cannot read or write expressed how Ananya could read Ramayana and Hanuman Chalisa when she was just a year and nine months old.
They also said that she had a distinct ability to grasp knowledge and memorise text quickly.
“We never force her to study. We are a blessed family with all wonder kids and the extraordinary talents imbibed in our children are because of goddess Saraswati’s grace upon us.”
Shailendra, Ananya elder brother, also earned the degree in Bachelor of Computer Application at the mere age of 14, and her sister Sushma enrolled in a Ph.D. programme at the age 15 after completing B.Sc at 13. In 2007, Sushma was also featured in the Limca Book of Records as the youngest student to complete Class X at the age of 7 years, three months and 28 days.
All the brilliance in one family! *claps*
