It Was Designer Aanchal Mittal Who Took Us To The ‘Fairytale Circus’ In Mandawa

City-based fashion designer and founder of Finesse, Aanchal Mittal’s flower prints are straight out of the folklore books you read and circuses you visited during your childhood.

  1. Take Lady Boss Ana’s white chiffon maxi, for instance. This maxi with a side-slit has soft florals that formed the colorful bed for the Tinker Bell and her friends in the forest.

So what if that Tinker Bell loved to fly with butterflies and collect honey, ours occasionally likes to fight the hand pump and pose sitting on scooters!

2. Rockstar Komal is the epitome of strength in our group. Constantly fighting the stereotypes attached with a female Goth-metallic singer, she chose to represent the brave Red Riding Hood who fought the bad wolf. Since Red Riding Hood was fond of collecting fruits from the wild, Komal wore a maxi with quirky cacti prints. Oh, you can’t miss the sharp cuts at the back.

3. And, THIS is why I mentioned the Circus earlier in the blog.

The circus tent motif in this cotton maxi from Finesse is sure to give your wardrobe the needed twist.

Ana said, “I am so excited to experiment further with this clownish attire. Though the color is neutral, I love how these triangular patterns are adding a joy to the whole look.”

4. About Komal’s outfit, Designer Aanchal mentioned that the dramatic collar was the main attraction. She said, “Komal is tall and this experimental cut on the collar is perfect for her body type. Put on some canvas shoes and you are ready to go!”
