What’s wrong with being called a woman of color. If I was a pink crayon, and a purple crayon called me a ‘Crayon of color’, what’d be really wrong with that? I mean If I have a color, a pigment, and some melanin in my skin, I am, too, a woman of color.

On the other hand, Priyanka Chopra feels that women shouldn’t be classified on the basis of color, and she doesn’t like the term in general. She said this in an interview with Refinery29.

A lot of women disagreed and said that she should embrace the term rather than rejecting it.
