They say, 60’s was the time when women actually began showing their skin more than ever. To be honest, it was a time when pleatless pants, two and three button suits and long slender shapes were invented.
We’re happy to see the trends of 60’s making an appearance at the JLF straight from the sets of a Bollywood film and the post Film Noir era of Hollywood. Have a look for yourself:
Think Zeenat Aman in those wide palazzo pants with broad checks. That center hair parting followed by a big pair of spectacles. These BFFs seemed to have taken some serious tutorials from the veteran herself!
These pretty ‘medieval-monks’ were spotted in two major sixties inventions – oval shaped shoulders and polo necks.
The souls of retro hippies from the sixties donning bright head-gears must be blessing this one for the way she turned up at JLF today.
Ask anyone and they would say Twiggy’s hemline dresses were the best thing about the sixties. Let’s give this Beatnik full marks, shall we?
