From Mehendi To Tableware, This Vegan Wedding Went All Out To Save The Environment

We bow down to Shasvathi & Karthik who celebrated the most precious day of their lives with the Mother Nature’s blessings.
Let us take you through their marriage itinerary:
- The bride put herbal henna instead of using the chemical mehendi cones available in the market.
- Even her makeup was Cruelty-free, i.e. not tested on animals.
- The décor was done using flowers and colorful cloth. No plastic at all.
- The dry coconut carvings had messages for the world rather than the usual deity carvings.
- Organic Toiletries were given as favors.
- Instead of paper napkins, newspapers were cut up to use as paper napkins.
- The guests were allowed to bring their pets to the wedding.
- Vegan ice-cream was brought from Delhi in a special refrigerator through the train. No flights because they would leave carbon footprints.
- The spoons were edible.
