It’s Plain Moronic To Attack Donald Trump By Slut-shaming His Wife

I, too, believe that Donald Trump is a racist, misogynist, doesn’t know a thing about government and would be a nightmare as the president of America if he ever gets voted to power. But, you know what, I can say all this without slut-shaming his wife Melania.
Yup, I am talking about the infamous cover of the New York Post featuring a nude photo of Melania Trump from her modeling days with the line, “You’ve never seen a potential First Lady like this!” written under it.
But how is it justified that by putting up this leery, misogynist cover, the New York Post can get away by saying that they are all for the cause of liberals?
Trust me; there are a thousand valid arguments such as Trump’s policy on immigrants, his Islamophobia and racist jokes which are more than enough to take on him, without needing to unnecessarily drag his wife into the whole scene.
Because, rarely comes a person such as Trump, who is horribly mean in whatever he says, giving liberals an upper hand since there’s no dearth of fodder to rightfully criticize him.
But by putting up the nude picture, (It’s a known fact that Melania has done many nude photo shoots) the American mainstream media has played into the hands of Trump, giving him an opportunity to say rightfully that he is being targeted.
This is not the first instance that Melania has been shown as an object. In the initial stages of the campaign, Trump himself had tweeted a photo trying to show the world that how beautiful is his wife compared to the spouse of Ted Cruz.
So, the men flaunting their wives as trophies or magazine covers slut-shaming Melania, are these the only choices left to oppose and argue each other’s stance?
I beg to disagree. You can still attack Donald Trump by criticizing his draconian ideas and mean streak, but you are the one on the losing end if you choose to hit below the belt by trying to slut-shame Melania.
