JAIPUR! Spend On All Your Wedding Needs Visiting The ‘Saat Phere’ Exhibition!
- JWB Post
- July 2, 2016
Ayushi Maheshwari came up with the idea of Saat Phere, The Wedding fair, out of her own fascination with exhibitions. When we shop from exhibitions, the chances are that we’ll never see a woman wearing the same outfit like ours. And let’s accept it wimminz, that’s THE dream. Right?
Ayushi feels that even though Jaipur boasts and hosts a variety of exhibitions every season, she tried to do something that stands apart. And that’s how Saat Phere happened!
Pallav and I entered the exhibition on the third floor of They had quite a variety. There was something for everyone. From wedding trousseau to bridal lehengas, and mehndi artists from Surat to wedding planners in Delhi and even organic skin products, the exhibition had it all.
Psst, dear men, you won’t get bored while you take your fiancé’s shopping because there are tonnes of stuff for you as well. Pretty cool, right?
Let me take you through this adventurous walk in the park!
Say hello to Diva’s, where they will help you with your perfect wedding props. You can also approach them for home décor, have a look at what they have in store for you all!
Gazal Mishra put forth some really interesting designs for working women. Her collection is created for women who don’t have much time for dressing up; she gives you the perfect package when you’re running short on time!
Chandigarh based Fab and Fabrics has launched Egyptian cotton cloth in India which is the richest type of cotton cloth in the world. I’ve touched it, and oh my god. You should have a look at their Swiss Cotton Quilt, which works perfectly in extreme temperatures from -50 degrees to 50 degrees. Yes, sir, you heard it right.
The exhibition also had a few LFW (Lakme Fashion Week) designers on its palette. Ladies who are looking for a unique and designer lehenga for their wedding, visit the following exhibits for sure:
Bhanuni By Jyoti
Togs By Jyoti (May I have your attention, men?)
Saaj By Ankita
The highlight of the Exhibition was Beehive Closet. The brand manufactures Gota Jewellery, which Sonali Choudhary designs herself. As per your lehenga, designs can be customized. They’re a brilliant choice for your Mehendi function.
Mehendi reminds me, there were Mehendi designers from Surat, and their designs were really cool. I saw this one design which looked like a couple raising their glasses, before they sipped on to it, beautiful, right? If you like quirky designs, you might want to visit this stall for sure.
Banarasi sarees are famous throughout the world, heck, they are my mum’s favorite. Tilfi Banaras had a wide range of Banarasi sarees, and they sure did know a lot about sarees, because, by the end of our conversation, my head was pretty much spinning.
They have Shikarga sarees, Raja Rani Meenakari, Kadwa sarees (the most superior form of hand-waving). An average duration for weaving one saree is about 1.5 months. Wow, that’s a lot!
If you want to get your own customized bridal footwear with your special designer lehenga, contact ‘Enchanted Bridal footwear’ and they’ll make sure that the saalis steal your jootiya instead of your husband’s.
