Do you know what being truly happy means? I think it’s to enter an exhibition in Jaipur filled with beautiful jewels and trinkets to your right and colorful suits on the left. Not just that! Oreo and Red Velvet Brownies right in front of you. Isn’t that a real fulfillment?

Today, I’ve visited at Forresta Kitchen and Bar. I must say, irresistible. I’ve met inspiring people, innovators in the fields of design, art, craft, and baking.

Apsara Bangles

As a part of JWB’s E-ID campaign, which helps women expand their business via online platforms, a stall was given to Musarrat Jahan and Rifaqat Sultana of . Their creative work exemplifies the expertise of seven decades in the business of crafting bangles at Maniharon Ka Rasta, Jaipur. I couldn’t resist laying my eye on the variety of Lakh ki Churiya.

Musarrat Jahan told me that nowadays brass bangles are a trendy choice of fashionistas! She also expressed her excitement to get the opportunity of exhibiting at Tattle Tales. By the way, you can now find artful Apsara Bangles on their newly launched and also at e-markets of Myntra, Amazon, and Flipkart.

I headed head-on towards the rainbow of the stalls.

Lovely and Colorful

I also banged into JWB’s old friend Paperica, remember?

Suramya by Oceans has such attractive suits and salwar kameez’s that you won’t resist purchasing at least one item. Is blue your favorite color, like it is mine, you will enjoy shopping at Suramya.

If you have a sweet tooth (plus you’re vegetarian), what’s better than eggless brownies with assorted flavours such as Tiramisu, Red Velvet, and Oreo! It was great speaking with the head baker, Vrinda Ghatiwala! I guess she pours her sweetness in her baked goods, only to make them better. Her brownies and other delicacies, under the name, Dessert Craft can be found at the Country Store, C-Scheme.

Tattle Tales shopping does not only have exhibition kings and queens from Jaipur but also from Ahmedabad. I met two young designers, with fresh ideas.

They were the perfect duo as one designed trinkets and costume jewellery, while the other created soulful clothes.

Nirjara

I got curious about Nirjara Clothing. The name means “to wash away your sins.” The clothing line was inspired by Mughal aesthetics and focused on using the colour palette of 2016-17. Nirjara, whose name the label carries, summarized her dresses as royal yet easy to wear. That’s good news, huh?

Hyperbole Accessories

Then I spoke to the owner of Hyperbole Accessories, Ahmedabad. She really hyperbole-ed my desires. I really hope to see these talented creators in Jaipur again!

My heart throbbed for the clothes, but also for the art by Khushi and Prisha Sonkia. Their faces were bright and happy, enough to attract one towards their stall.

Khushi and Prisha Sonkia

Khushi, the older one, is studying in Grade 11. She introduced me to her artwork. I saw them breathing live; that’s how real they were.

Khushi

Khushi has also qualified many rounds for the Balshree Award (Padmashree for Art). Congratulations, girl! You make Jaipur proud. Studying in Grade 8, Prisha does not only paint but also designs notebook covers.

I’ll tell you one thing: I’m rushing off to their studio tomorrow itself.

Armuse

My next stop was Armuse by Ayushi Jain and her mother, who we had missed by minutes. What’s unique about Armuse is that it serves to the niche audience. They focus on festive clothing and experiment with varied textures, drapes, and colors. I loved her collection, well-suited for festivals like Rakhi and Diwali.

Kanupriya

On my way out, I met Sejal Daga because who wouldn’t enter a stall with modern rugs (not maroon or grey). Her firm is called, Hasti, named after her Guru. Also, the trays and coasters she manufactures are a summation of excellent quality and design. What made me happier was that you can customize your own design. So, if you’re looking for subtle home decor, visit Hasti. Her friend also designs and imports rugs and cushions under the name, “Timeless Weaves.” They really were timeless because have you ever stepped on a woolen rug? Feels great!

Visitors

Onto by Aanchal

If you have already visited Tattle Tales, you will be able to empathize with my feeling of not wanting to leave. But, I’ll be back next year, for more of Suramya, Armuse, Dessert Craft and Hasti!

But, it’s still not over, Jaipurites! I suggest you grab your purses and wallets and head towards Tattle Tales right away! Believe me; you’ll regret it otherwise.

Pst! JWB’s Marketing Manager Aanchal has also displayed her first apparel collection ‘Themes’ at Tattle Tales. We tell you, JWB Girls are brilliant!
