JWB Weekends: Crafting Dreamcatchers, Trinkets & Friendship Bands With Paperica

It was a regular Saturday at the JWB workplace when our team was busy planning the coming week’s campaigns, while some were busy having a little extra breakfast.
To surprise us and make our weekend fun, our lady-boss Ana decided to invite Jaipur based brand ’s founder Geetam Nokhwal.
Remember, we did her story some time back? Geetam came to coach us on how to make the gorgeous dreamcatchers she sells online worldwide. What more? She has just introduced fashion accessories made from the articles used in the designing dreamcatchers. This meant we were about to get trained on how to please our friends on Friendship Day (August 2). Yay!
All of us are color-obsessed. When Geetam opened her box full of colorful beads and threads, we couldn’t resist taking artistic pictures for Instagram.
After we quickly chose our favorite colors, Geetam started to guide the JWB artisans on how to make friendship bands.
Every class has sincere students who focus,
… those who are distinguishly distracting,
…those who are a little slow to grab,
…and then those cunning ones who make the teacher work on their behalf.
Geetam is a friend so she bore it all. She kept calm and taught us all the tricks patiently with an infectious smile on her face. She even asked us to name and describe about our best friends.
Check out all the friendship bands that we created!
Amidst all the ‘hard-work’ our team was doing, the lady-boss was enjoying this moment.
Although later, she showed us her creativity in this form. Impressive!
The next level was to make Paperica’s trademark – Dreamcatchers! Can you see the chaos depicting our excitement and energies?
And once we were done, we rapidly took pictures of our respective creations.
Our blogger, Priya took it to another level by making it a head-accessory.
On the other hand, Lavanya tried to copy the Native Americans.
Priyanka decided to religiously hang it on her bedside to get good dreams.
We made sooo many of them!
Lastly, the proud artisans took pictures to share on their social media accounts like a pro.
Do you want one for yourself or your friend? Geetam makes beautiful trinkets too which you can order here. You can even ask Geetam to make customized pieces in your favorite colors too!Photo courtesy: Shashank K Tyagi who is still blackmailing us with few ‘censored’ shots. Phew!
