What Makes An Instagram Post Perfect? Let These Parent Bloggers Tell You

When you post a picture on Instagram, you look for many factors like lighting, makeup, background, filters, etc. We follow many aesthetically appealing photographers on Instagram but do not know what they’re concealing from us in their posts.

British designer and retailer Wren Kitchens teamed up with five well-known blogging parents for a campaign called, ‘A Kitchen Lived In: Perception vs. Reality’. The project will show the world the reality behind all those ‘perfect’ Instagram pics. It shows how cropping, choosing the right angle and right filters, can change a messy photo into a picture-perfect.

“Parenting bloggers are particularly pressured to perceive themselves as the perfect parents with the perfect life and the perfect kitchen on their blogs,” Wren Kitchens said. “We asked them to show us their true reality behind the ‘perfect family’ perception.”
