WTF! Egypt Suspends 8 Female TV Anchors & Orders Them To Lose Weight.

Egypt’s state broadcaster has suspended eight female anchors. Reason? They are overweight.
Not only this, they further shamed them by asking to lose weight within a month. These women can now only return to their jobs after they manage to achieve an “appropriate appearance”. This, of course, has led to an outcry from women’s rights advocates.
Newscaster Khadija Khattab is one of eight women suspended. She told Al-Yawm al-Sabi that she wants people to watch her and judge for themselves if she is really “fat”.
The Women’s Centre for Guidance and Legal Awareness, a women’s rights advocate, called the suspensions “a form of violence against women”. What do you think?
