Dear Men, This Is What You Should Do When Rejected By Women

What should men do after being rejected? Should they go the emo way (boo hoo) or just respect her decision and leave her alone. But wait! If your alpha male ego doesn’t let you digest the fact that you have been rejected, then self-proclaimed ‘love expert’ Nick Savoy is at your rescue.

Recently, Savoy wrote an article in Men’s Fitness magazine (which they later deleted) saying that when a woman rejects a man, he shouldn’t let his spirits mellow down and take her rejection for a yes.

Yup, you heard it right! According to love guru Savoy, when a woman says no, it actually means yes. So a man must put his foot down and pester her until she doesn’t say him yes (although the chances are that she will get a restraining order against you or put you behind the bars) because a ‘real man’ cannot be rejected.

Oh, and in his author bio, Savoy says that he is an expert in helping men meet and attract ‘high-quality women’ (oh no, not offensive at all. It’s just like high-quality pulses) and also helps them understand female psychology. Now, this 21st-century reincarnation of Dr. Freud doesn’t stop there.

It seems that apparently Savoy and Bollywood are on the same page. Much like what we see in our films, according to the love guru, men should doggedly pursue women (read stalk) and make her say yes at the end (so what if this promotes rape culture?).

Guys, wake up. I know that it’s difficult to do away with rejection (I also speak for myself), but that doesn’t mean that we can make someone go against their free will. Remember Bruce Almighty? Even God didn’t have the power to do that!

So it’s okay if you are rejected and need to handle it majestically. Sure you can be morose over it for a couple of days and then eventually get over it. There are other things which are more heartbreaking. Like waiting for the next season of GOT to begin after that epic finale!
