Banning Of Homework For Elementary School? YAY or NAY?
- JWB Discussion

“There is no evidence that any amount of homework improves the academic performance of elementary students.”
Looking at the facts, we find out that the benefits of homework are age related. Now, who likes homework, anyway?
Research suggests that homework has a negative impact on young children. It may cause children to turn against school, and academic learning. Doesn’t that happen a lot, guys?
Instead of being able to connect, children, who are already tired, protest, and parents rant about their children not finishing their homework.
On the other hand, those who are in support of homework say, “Homework teaches responsibility, and refreshes their memory of what they had learned in school earlier. That way, parents can monitor the school-work of the children.
However, the studies clearly suggest that Homework should be banned in Elementary school.
