Here’s What Hillary Clinton’s Emotional & Makeup Free Speech Taught The World

The U.S. elections shook the entire world and every one expressed their emotions over the election loss of Hillary Clinton in one way or the other.

But, what about the lady herself? How did Hillary feel after the news that she lost against Donald Trump?

Hillary Clinton attended the Children’s Defense Fund’s Beat the Odds Celebration where she was honored.  it was her first public appearance after the concession speech, and this time, Hillary spoke her heart out.

She shared that she was extremely disappointed with the results of the elections and had wanted to ‘curl up’ with a good book and ‘never leave the house again.’

“I will admit coming here…wasn’t the easiest thing for me,” Hillary said.

“There have been a few times this past week when all I’ve wanted to do was just to curl up with a good book or our dogs and never leave the house ever again,” the 69-year-old former Secretary of State added.

And, guess what?

She did not hide her emotions behind make-up and it was so refreshing. Because it’s very rare to see a public figure expressing their emotions through words, let alone through their appearance.

And, she promised everyone that this loss won’t affect her and she’ll do what she does best.

“There are people in this audience I’ve had the privilege of working with and admiring for so many decades. You refuse to stop pushing and when you get knocked down, you get back up. You don’t get to stop paying rent just because things don’t go your way.”

Thank you, Hillary, for not masking your true self and your emotions under makeup and  teaching to the world that showing emotions is not a sign of weakness but a reminder of one’s courage and strength!
