JWB Salutes Policemen This International Men’s Day

Happy International Men’s Day!

“So how does it work?” I asked the JWB bloggers. The girls have decided to excavate the real me… or that’s at least how they like to think. So they call me “Chulbul Pandey” anyway. It’s just that now they are literally putting me into the attire of one. I might as well put on Chulbul Pandey’s sunglasses.

The JWB girls …and the kids from our building got a good laugh, but I maintained my badass look.

Since I’m a policeman for a day, I met up with a diligent police guy who wore a broad grin on his face. He was being interviewed for the first time!

I was dressed up in my Khakhis, behaving as a traffic policeman, and at one point, I even tried stopping a guy without his helmet but giggled before I could whistle!

I quickly handed over my letter to Mr. Policeman, and he couldn’t be happier!

Dear Mr. Policeman,

We often forget to thank you, and so we are grabbing this opportunity on the occasion of International Men’s Day!

Thank you for guiding her through the routes when she turns to you with a confused face and failed GPS directions.

Thank you for protecting the women of our country! We see you using lathi to scare away eve teasers. Even at night, you continue patrolling to ensure that no woman gets threatened at least in your area.

Thank you for scaring the bad guys away and thank you for being the saviour to millions!

Thank you for not ignoring her complaints!
