New Disney Princess, Moana, Will Not Wake Up To Her Prince Charming’s Kiss

There’ve already been two Disney movies that have empowered their Disney princesses, Brave and Frozen.
While Elsa and Merida combated the thought of marrying someone you’ve just met (ironically the plot of every Disney movie in the past), a new Disney Princess named Moana is here to steal our hearts.
Have you guys seen the trailer? It is beyond awesome! It’s beyawesome!
Anyway, the movie’s directors, John Musker and Ron Clements revealed at the San Diego Comic-Con that the movie would not show romance or a love-interest.
The movie will feature Polynesian girl, Moana, an adorable pig called Pua and a Polynesian demigod called Maui.
The directors said that the story would focus on Moana’s journey to introspection and self-discovery, as reported by Entertainment Weekly.
Growing up, I wanted to be like a Disney Princess, who found a Prince Charming and live happily ever after. But now, I want to be someone like Merida or Moana. [Heart Eye Emoji]
