Nike Shows All Fat Shamers That Curvy Women Workout, Too

Thankfully, the perspectives are fast changing. Being fat is no longer a curse, each body type is beautiful, and we’re beginning to embrace the change. Nike recently released an advertisement, and we’re SO happy this finally happened!
Have you noticed how sports brands mostly introduce athletic women working out, because fitness is of course, directly linked to the athletic kind of women? Curvy women are mostly absent from such advertisements.
Nike released an advertisement featuring plus-sized models. In the ad, Elesser tells you how to figure out if your sports bra fits you perfectly.
What I personally liked about the ad is that it has no mention whatsoever of her being plus-sized!
While many experts said that the sizes do not go beyond an XL or an E, I would still say that I appreciate Nike’s effort for bringing to the attention of the people that curvy women are just as fitness conscious as slim and fit women.
Brava, Nike!
