The Day When Four Points Sheraton Invited All Jaipur Bloggers Under One Roof

I think I can’t say enough that I love Jaipur. I can say this a million times, and it will still be insignificant if compared to the amount of love I have for this beautiful city.

Shaam Gulabi, seher gulaabi, peher gulaabi, hai gulaabi ye sheher.

Yeah, I love it so much that I’ll sing about it. Our young city is bubbling with talents that we didn’t even know existed. And so, when ‘Best Brews’ at Four Points, Sheraton, Jaipur invited us for Jaipur’s first ever Bloggers’ Meet, my urge to sing ‘shaam gulaabi’ doubled.

From our team, Jayati, Sanchit and I were visiting. Before anything else, I’d like to bring your attention to the fact that “Best Brews” BREWS beer. So since 20% of our focus was on that, okay, maybe 45%, the snacks were stealing the rest of the attention away.

Neha, Marcom, Four Points, was the moderator for the occasion. She broke the ice by assuring us that it was okay to attack the snacks. Jayati and I glanced at one another, and our hands slowly crawled towards the food. We all sat in a group and introduced ourselves.

A sister duo who calls themselves And.Then.I.Ate is two of Jaipur’s youngest food bloggers, were very excited to write about Best Brews’ snacks. Well, I gotta say, they were delicious.

And.Then.I.Ate. Bloggers

Ria, one of the food bloggers, said, “I love the taste of the cucumber-yogurt dip. I’m filling my pita pockets, and stomach pockets with it.”

They offered us the amazing tiny test tubes that were filled with tomato soup and topped with lamb kebabs. Slurp.

Later, we also dived into their Lebanese pita pockets.

Thank you, Chef!

Sanchit steered his attention towards some fellow photographers, and well, you know Sanchit, when he’s talking photography, food is blurred out of his ‘focus.’

Another Food Blogger, Meghna Saraswat, was experiencing her food, and said, “I’m relatively new to food blogging and I think I want to do it for life!

Bloggers mingling with one another

JWB met Nimisha Verma, who runs a venture called . Remember? She introduced us to her traveler friend who loves the Himalayas.

I wish I could go and just sit in the Himalayas forever. Away from this world’s moh mayas. But, then the Himalayas should hold some Bloggers’ meets, too.

Some techies were also present at the gathering, and while devouring the pineapple mouse, we got introduced to the food rating app Strado.

While taking the tour of the hotel, we glanced at the beautiful swimming pool and Jayati jokingly added, “We should have the next bloggers’ meet inside the pool, please!”

Mr. Ashish Vyas

And, the GM of Four Points, Mr. Ashish Vyas, took a note of that. Ah, guess meetings with bloggers while splashing in the water gotta be the coolest thing in the world. Pun intended.

Mr. Vyas also generously gifted us some discount spa coupons. ‘Scuse me; I got a Thai massage to take. After he turned away, Jayati and I might have danced a little. Some people probably saw us and thought, “da fuq?” But, who cares?

Thank you, Four Points, Sheraton, for hosting Jaipur’s first ever Bloggers’ Meet. Guess, we just created history by being a part of it!
