This 1968 Graphic Sex Education Book For Kids Keeps No Secrets

Remember the answer our parents gave us when we asked them about the creation of babies? Yes, the universal answer. An angel comes from the skies and drops a baby in the mother’s lap.

Well, now that we know the truth, thanks to biology, it seems so stupid that we actually believed in the theory our parents temporally satisfied our curiosity with.

However, the topic of sex was not treated as a taboo back in the old days as it is done now. By old days I mean the 1960s and to support my statement I’ll take the help of a graphic sex education textbook from that period, called How Babies Are Made. And to be honest, it minces no words in teaching the kids what happens during and after sex. In fact, it tells them all.

Published by Time Life in the year 1968, it does seem like people back then were a lot more chilled out and logical about sex, than we are now.

Have a look at the pictorial representation of the book if you don’t believe me.

It’s funny that the 60s have taught us that sex education can be given to kids by treating it like a simple process that continues life with no taboos attached.
