This Woman’s Illustrations About Her Struggle With Arthritis Are Heartwarming

Life is difficult when you’re undergoing a condition that not many can help you with. That’s how things were with 38-year-old Goa-based Graphic Designer and illustrator, Antima Nahar.
Imagine, the world keeps giving you a lot of irrelevant advice, and in a desperate attempt, nothing else. A lot of us cannot even begin to think what it would be like to suffer from Arthritis from a young age of 35.
She was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis in 2013.
To put an end to this, she tried a lot of things.
“My doctor suggested that I start writing a journal to keep track of my health, emotions, Indian and diet. As I started writing, I realised that drawing was how I expressed myself best. So, why not do that?” She told Buzzfeed.
“I have always been someone who couldn’t just worry too much about things. I decided that I could either sulk or make the best of my condition. This was my way of coping with it and having a good laugh at my own expense,” she said.
