Wow!!!!!

Three friends – Rashmi Koppar, Dr Soumya Goyal, and Nidhi Tiwari – did this amazing travel across 13 countries! It was Nidhi’s idea which got approved by the other two friends. They quickly took a sabbatical from their jobs to realize their dream. They started “Women Beyond Boundaries” in March 2015 to encourage women to drive long distances.

An Indian car manufacturer sponsored their trip and gave them an SUV to drive through several countries. They started in June 2015 and travelled to Myanmar, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, Belgium and France, and lastly London. The journey culminated in October.

Covering over 23,800 km in 97 days, it was Nidhi who drove throughout the journey. In fact, they claim that the car in which they happened to complete their road trip has become first Indian vehicle to cross the Arctic Circle.
