Story of an Acid-attack Survivor Getting her Bollywood Make-over

Reshma Banoo Qureshi is an 18-year-old acid attack survivor. Recently she got a chance to get a Bollywood style makeover from Blush, a YouTube channel on beauty and fashion.
Putting forward the importance of inner beauty rather than focusing on the outer one, the video has a message.
At once place you can see Reshma saying – ‘Aaj main Katrina Kaif se bhi sundar dikhoongi’.
However, she understands that our society doesn’t really care about inner beauty and it’s her face by which she gets judged. Watch the video where she tells her story of how few men threw acid on her, and that made her emerge even stronger.
She says – “I learnt to live with the physical pain but what hurt more was the way the society reacted. My own relatives stopped seeing me, as did my friends. I stayed indoors for eight years and ventured out only in a ghungat.”
Can you imagine the immense pain she feels every time looking into the mirror?
