The ITA School of Performing Arts in Bapu Nagar is bringing something entirely different and kickass to the people of Jaipur. In association with ace Bollywood Choreographer, Farah Khan, ITASPA is all set to provide us with India’s first ever course in choreography.
Farah Khan visited the Pink City earlier today to speak to the media regarding the alliance. She explained, “Along with the regular dance classes, we are bringing to you a 12-week course in choreography where I will make sure you learn everything that I have acquired in my career spanning over 25 years.”
Farah added that the course would teach the students the technical details of shooting a film song. “From equipment to right angles and how to write a song script, we will take care of everything. In the end, each student will have to prepare his/her song video as the final submission.”
What is exciting? The best students might get a chance to work with Farah herself! Isn’t it awesome?
ITASPA is a part of Indian Television Academy and is a popular platform across India where actors, singers, and dancers are nurtured and polished to become professionals.
Since Farah can’t be present in Jaipur to conduct every class, her expert assistance from Mumbai will be present here.
Farah said, “I miss the editing with classic continuity. The choreographies that I watch in movies nowadays are futile. I am very proud of the choreography I did in the film ‘Jaan-E-Mann.’ Songs like ‘Humko Maloom Hai’ and ‘Jaaneman’ are my favorite. They were never praised back then. But today, I hear them playing everywhere!”
The course is expected to begin before Diwali! Are you going to apply?
